In
the fall of 2002, the Strake Jesuit community enlisted the help of over
400 students, parents, past parents, alumni, religious leaders, educators
and friends to help shape a strategic plan for the future. This planning
process produced a number of concrete recommendations - from campus
improvements to enhanced academic and extracurricular programming. The
Vision 2008 process can be summarized under the Jesuit concept of the
Magis - the better way. Vision 2008 was intended to be a plan that
helped the board, faculty and administration think of the better way to do
what Strake Jesuit already does - provide a premier secondary education
for college-bound students. Each of the campaign objectives is based on
the concept of the Magis - the better way for Strake Jesuit to
serve its students, families and the greater community. |
